Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Construction Laborers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects. This role involves hands-on labor in a variety of tasks related to earthwork and underground, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist team by providing manual labor such as digging, grinding, jack hammering, etc.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Prepare and clean job sites, such as remove/clean up debris, trash and waste materials
- Clean and maintain construction tools and equipment appropriately
- Load and unload equipment from trucks and trailers
- Ensure proper safety and compliance protocols are being followed
- Ability to lift at a minimum of 50-pound objects repeatedly, walk/stand and bend for long periods of time
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Support remodeling efforts by assisting in demolition, rebuilding, and finishing work as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Due to position being "Safety Sensitive" candidates are required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Company has a ZERO drug and alcohol policy.
- Prior construction or general labor experience is a plus – but we’re willing to train the right person
- Strong safety mindset
- Reliable transportation
- Must be willing to work weekends and unexpected longer hours when necessary
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in construction settings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
