Newport Medical Supply is a boutique medical equipment provider dedicated to delivering exceptional service and premium home medical equipment throughout Orange County. We specialize in mobility equipment, compression therapy, orthopedic bracing, hospital beds, lift chairs, and other durable medical equipment (DME). Position Summary
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a larger sales role. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both in our showroom and in customers' homes, assisting with equipment deliveries, product education, and providing an exceptional customer experience.Because many of our customers are recovering from surgery, living with chronic conditions, or facing mobility challenges, compassion, patience, empathy, and genuine care are absolutely essential. We are looking for someone who treats every customer with dignity, kindness, and respect while helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in our showroom with selecting the appropriate medical equipment and supplies. Educate customers on compression garments, orthopedic braces, mobility equipment, and home medical products. Deliver, assemble, and demonstrate hospital beds, lift chairs, wheelchairs, scooters, and other DME. Provide concierge-level customer service with compassion and professionalism. Maintain showroom appearance and inventory. Work closely with physicians, therapists, discharge planners, and caregivers. Assist with inventory management and receiving merchandise. Learn new products and stay current on DME offerings.
Qualifications
- Experience in DME, orthopedics, compression therapy, healthcare, physical therapy, or medical sales preferred. Outstanding customer service and communication skills. A compassionate, caring personality with a genuine desire to help others. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to safely lift and move equipment (up to approximately 75 lbs with assistance when needed). Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Dependable, self-motivated, and team oriented.
