Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
Job Location: Tyler, TX
What You'll Do
- Develop electrical engineering deliverables including SLDs, load lists, calculations, cable sizing and routing, lighting layouts, and grounding/lightning protection systems.
- Perform short-circuit, coordination, voltage-drop, motor-starting, arc-flash, and lighting calculations using ETAP and SKM.
- Prepare and review specifications, data sheets, and material requisitions for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, motors, UPS, VFDs, and lighting systems.
- Ensure designs comply with NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE, API standards and coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Support vendor clarifications, review vendor drawings, and assist with construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
Estimate man-hours for project proposals and support field installation teams.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 10–20 years of Oil & Gas/Industrial/EPC experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and strong NEC code knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with ETAP/SKM, strong Excel capability, and fluency in English.
- Experience selecting and sizing electrical equipment and performing hazardous area classifications.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, writing, time‑management, and project‑planning skills.
