Position Overview:
Play Academy is seeking an experienced, reliable, and professional Private Swim Instructor to provide one-on-one swim lessons for residents at Point Hope Charleston. This is a great opportunity for instructors looking to work within a community setting while earning a competitive commission rate.
Program Details:
Private swim lessons will be offered to residents based on instructor availability and community interest. The instructor will be responsible for providing safe, engaging, and personalized swim instruction tailored to each participant’s age, comfort level, and swim goals.

Compensation:
Competitive commission structure — 60/40 split in favor of the instructor for each registration fee
Responsibilities:
Provide private swim lessons tailored to each participant’s skill level and goals
Create a safe, encouraging, and positive learning environment
Teach water safety, basic swim skills, stroke development, and confidence-building techniques
Communicate availability clearly with the Play Academy team
Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled lessons
Maintain professionalism when interacting with residents and community staff
Notify Play Academy in advance of any scheduling conflicts
Additional Details:

Prior swim instruction experience preferred
CPR/AED certification required
Lifeguard or water safety certification preferred
Strong communication and reliability
Ability to provide a safe and welcoming experience for residents
Comfortable working with children and/or adults of varying swim abilities
