SUMMARY:
Uses powered industrial equipment to receive, store, pick, and load products in a fast-paced warehouse. Helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace by addressing safety and housekeeping needs. This position primarily works in cooler and freezer environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Unloads and depalletizes products off trailers; receives product into inventory and ensure accurate transactions to maintain inventory control.

Transports product to stow locations and puts away.

Selects product to build orders according to assigned load tickets and apply stretch wrap to secure product on the pallet.
- Load product onto trailers to ensure safe transport.

Utilize computer systems to receive incomingprocess outgoing orders.

Safely operate a powered pallet jack, forklift, or other powered industrial equipment.

Ensure neat/clean environment in compliance with Company Safety and Sanitation requirements, discard materials in the proper manner.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.

Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Company, and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience

6 months' experience in a warehouse setting
Skills

Ability to pass the Lift Truck Operator Training Course test.

Ability to read, write, speak English.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1 year experience on a stand-up reach truck

This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk, and communicate effectively by talking and hearing. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling are required. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, reaching, and the use of hands for handling, grasping, and feeling objects are also necessary. Employees may occasionally use their sense of taste and smell while performing job duties. This position requires sufficient visual ability to perform job duties.
