Dog Daycare Attendant - AM Shifts
Green Acres Pet Resort is seeking an experienced Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team for morning shifts. This position is best suited for someone who already understands the pace, structure, and responsibility that comes with professional dog daycare and is interested in continued growth within the pet care field.
Schedule Details
- Morning shifts starting as early as 5:45 AM and typically ending around 1:00 PM
- Hours may vary based on operational needs
- Monday–Friday with weekends and holidays as needed
- Occasional scheduling outside of standard shifts may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise group play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all dogs
- Read and appropriately respond to canine body language
- Manage group dynamics and proactively prevent conflict
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of daycare areas
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
- Follow all handling, safety, and facility protocols
Qualifications
- 1+ years of previous dog daycare experience is required
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and group play
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning shifts
- Able to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physically capable of handling active dogs and standing for extended periods
