Job Description Summary
Conversational Spanish is an introductory course designed to enable the student to begin speaking and writing simple Spanish phrases as well as an understanding of the language. Emphasis will be placed on the use of Spanish words and phrases in everyday interactions and conversational settings. The class will use a variety of strategies and materials to accommodate multiple learning styles.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years related work experience.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/ outline provided to insure course content and objectives are met.
Ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.
Ability to utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
Spanish Language Communication Skills .
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years teaching or training experience.
Experience developing lesson plans and curriculum.
