Requirements:
Completion of high school/GED or completion of college. Current CPR Certification required. 2 years of experience. Completion of 1 travel assignment. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Elekta Experience is a PLUS.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and apply ionizing radiation to patients according to prescriptions and instructions.
- Operate Radiation Oncology equipment including CT simulators, linear accelerators, QA dosimeters, diode systems, and computer equipment.
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy accurately in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
- Float between Proton and Photon treatments as needed under supervision.
- Follow safety and quality assurance procedures for radiation delivery.
