Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/woodworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking and restoration, with experience in various carpentry techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects that may include frame carpentry, Cabinet making, and other restoration tasks. The Woodworker will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Execute frame carpentry work, including the construction of walls, roofs, and siding installations.
- Collaborate with team members to assess project requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine material needs
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed for various repair and maintenance tasks.
Skills
- Proficiency in woodworking techniques and tools, including hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with frame carpentry, siding installation, and general construction practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to estimate materials and project costs accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
