At Monmouth Cardiology Associates, LLC we are proud to offer high level cardiac care in the areas of Structural Heart, Heart Failure, Vascular, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Cardio-Oncology. Our nurses work with our providers to help care for our complex cardiac patients and provide strong evidence based decision making and excellent customer service. Our nursing team in our Eatontown office typically rotates through the various roles week to week.
Pre Admission Coordination: Educating patients pre-procedure on the process of pre- admission testing and medications to hold prior to procedure. Pre-admission results are then screened by the nursing team for abnormalities prior to procedure.
INR Clinic- management of INR and Coumadin dosing
RN visits- for incision checks post PPM/ICD and Blood pressure checks.
Patient Phone calls- triaging various calls from patients and working with providers to answer complex questions.
There is also the opportunity to cross train in one of our more specialized areas:
Stress Department- RN runs stress test and reviews results with physician.
Heart Failure Clinic- RN works with an NP in our CHF clinic seeing patient and giving IV Lasix when needed.
Electrophysiology- Assist physician in office with loop recorder implants
