Community Coach – Girls Varsity Soccer
Job Title: The Varsity Head Girls Soccer Coach and Program Coordinator
Status: Full-time/Exempt
Reports to: Director of Athletics
Summary
The Varsity Head Girls Soccer Coach and Program Coordinator is responsible for the development of the KRCS Girls Soccer Program, including the vision, philosophy, professional development, coordination, instruction, and development of the entire program. The Program Coordinator is responsible for providing the student-athletes and staff with a quality sport experience in a biblically integrated environment. This position will include administrative and/or teaching responsibilities.
Essential Functions
The tasks, duties, and responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to:

Strategically lead, develop, and implement all aspects of the KRCS Girls Soccer program- consistent with the mission, philosophy, and vision of KRCS and the Department of Athletics

Collaborate with the HS Director of Athletics to develop and lead the program at all levels

Understand and abide by all GHSA and Region rules

Manage the Soccer budgets.

Coordinate, manage, mentor, develop and evaluate all coaches and staff positions throughout the program.

Coordinate and implement strategy for the development of players and coaching staff at all levels
- Collaborate with the Director of Facilities to oversee the facilities scheduling for all areas of the Soccer program including practices, games, meeting areas, strength needs and assist to coordinate game management for the Athletic Directors.

Coordinate and manage all communications with players, parents, community, athletic department, KRCS, and local community for the entire program.

Organize and facilitate all off-season training, summer training within GHSA and KRCS guidelines

Contract all game officials.

Collaborate with counselors to monitor the academic progress of Soccer student-athletes.

Assist as needed in the college recruiting process

Collaborates with Athletic Administrative Assistant for timely updates and accurate content

Coordinate all parent volunteer personnel including team mom and game day volunteers

Coordinate and document all sport records, awards and recognitions for the entire program.

Maintain administrative or teaching responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Education
Experience
-
Previous and successful experience as a Head Coach or Coordinator at the high school or collegiate level preferred.

Knowledge of GHSA rules and regulations preferred.
