:Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our team. In this role, you will handle daily food prep and execute orders during our busiest lunch hours. This position starts as a part-time role with a 3-month probation period, with the opportunity to expand into more hours based on performance, reliability, and teamwork.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Type: Part-Time (Initial 3-month probation period)
- Future Growth: If you prove to be a great fit for our kitchen, we will gladly offer you additional hours in the future.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Prepare high-quality ingredients for the shift (chopping vegetables, preparing meats, stocking stations).
- Cook and assemble menu items quickly and accurately according to our recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen environment at all times.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, restocking inventory, and dishwashing as needed.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook or prep cook in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during the lunch rush.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and reliability.
- On-the-Job Focus: To ensure safety and efficiency during the lunch rush, we enforce a strict no-phone-use policy while you are on the clock.
