Duties:
- Operate a variety of trucks, including roll off trucks and dump trucks, to transport materials and goods to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery of goods
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods by adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Touch freight.
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience in roll off trucks, dump trucks, or similar vehicles
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dispatchers and team members
