Moving Consultant & Business Development Representative AAA Movers Chicago
Compensation: $60,000 Base Salary + 3% Commission + Mileage Reimbursement
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

AAA Movers Chicago is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Moving Consultant & Business Development Representative to join our team. This role combines inbound sales, outbound lead follow-up, onsite moving estimates, and business development.
The ideal candidate is comfortable answering phones, meeting customers in person, conducting onsite estimates, and developing new business relationships throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
After completing onsite training, this position will transition to a primarily remote role. Candidates must have a strong understanding of the Chicago metro area and surrounding suburbs.
ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service
- Answer inbound sales calls and customer inquiries
- Contact new leads and follow up with prospective customers
- Schedule and conduct onsite residential and commercial moving estimates
- Build and present moving proposals and pricing
- Follow up on open estimates and close sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer information within our CRM system
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the moving process
- Coordinate with operations to ensure a smooth customer experience
Business Development
- Prospect and cold call new business opportunities throughout the Chicago market
- Develop relationships with apartment communities, property managers, real estate agents, senior living communities, corporate relocation departments, and local businesses
- Schedule meetings with referral partners and potential commercial accounts
- Generate recurring account business and referral opportunities
- Follow up with existing accounts to strengthen relationships and increase revenue
- Represent AAA Movers professionally within the community and local networking events when needed
- Track sales and business development activities within our CRM system
Qualifications
- Previous sales, customer service, business development, moving industry, real estate, or home service experience preferred
- Strong phone communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers both over the phone and in person
- Strong computer, typing, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong understanding of the Chicago metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Experience with CRM software is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
