STNA Responsibilities
-
Assist residents with daily living activities, including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility

Follow personalized care schedules outlined by supervisors

Provide emotional and social support to residents

Support dining services, including meal setup and assistance as needed

Assist with laundry and light housekeeping as required

Document care and daily activities per facility guidelines

Communicate resident concerns or changes to supervisor

Promote resident independence, dignity, and confidentiality

Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures

Participate in training sessions and staff meetings

Maintain a professional, respectful demeanor with residents, families, and team members

Perform other duties as assigned
STNA Qualifications

Active Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification

Demonstrated knowledge of nursing care procedures and clinical terminology
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with medical staff, residents, and families
-
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility
-
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
-
Previous experience with senior or memory care residents is a plus
