Fenton Winery & Brewery has been crafting wine, beer, spirits, and memorable experiences for guests at its taproom and wedding venue since 2008. The company focuses on delivering high-quality products that enhance special events and everyday visits alike. We typically produce: 200-250 bbls of beer on our 7bbl electric brewery, 20k bottles of wine and about 200 proof gallons of spirits every year. Role Description
The Production Team Member is a full-time, on-site role based in Fenton, MI, supporting daily brewing, winemaking and distilling operations. Responsibilities include assisting with production tasks such as measuring ingredients, operating equipment, monitoring batches, and following recipes and schedules. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing tanks, tools, and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic production environment, as well as supporting packaging, labeling, and storage of finished products. The Production Team Member collaborates with the production leadership team to meet output targets, follows quality and safety standards, and helps ensure an efficient workflow across the facility.
Qualifications
- Ability to support production planning and production management activities, including following schedules and related tasks across the production floor.
- Production experience in a brewery or distillery is a must.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience or aptitude in quality control, with attention to detail in monitoring product standards, cleanliness, and safety procedures.
- Comfort with physical work, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a manufacturing or food/beverage production environment.
- Basic understanding of or interest in brewing, winemaking, or craft beverage production; prior experience in a production or warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Reliability, willingness to follow instructions, and openness to working variable shifts as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; safety certifications or production-related training are a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software is a plus

- Based on experience.
- Hourly, Full time nonexempt
- After 90 days, Paid Time Off hours accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours.
