About the Position
Illinois State Electric is looking for a dependable, experienced electrician to join our growing team. We perform a variety of residential and commercial electrical work throughout Chicago and the Northwest Suburbs. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with customers, and works well independently as well as with a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical service work
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Install, repair, and replace electrical equipment and wiring
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company
Requirements
- 3–5 years of electrical experience
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$48/hour, based on experience
