For our warehouse in Pompano Beach, we are seeking a Coffee Field Service Technician , who reports directly to the Technical Coordinator.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT...
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial coffee machines and espresso equipment (e.g., brewers, grinders, blenders etc.)
- Providing best-in-class customer service (including troubleshooting and basic coffee equipment training on site) to maximize customer satisfaction and retention
- Documenting proper procedures including electronic invoices, customer names and contact information, reporting quality issues and other related activities
- Driving and maintaining a neat and orderly service vehicle, along with accurate parts and tool inventory
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG...
- High school degree is required
- 2+ year of relevant electro-technical working experience with espresso coffee machines
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work on-call rotation hours in emergency cases (including nights and weekends) and to travel occasionally overnight
- Physical ability to drive on a frequent base and lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to use smart phones and tablets to maintain company records
- Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain positive under pressure.
- Teamwork and willingness to take initiative in maintaining a welcoming environment
