Performance Medical Solutions is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Delivery Technician to join our team serving veterans and patients in their homes. This role is responsible for delivering, installing, and supporting essential medical equipment such as hospital beds, patient lifts, stair lifts, vehicle lifts, wheelchairs, and adaptive equipment.
This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals with experience in HVAC, cable installation, appliance delivery, automotive repair, construction, equipment installation, or field service roles. You’ll work independently using company provided tools and vehicle to deliver, install, troubleshoot, and ensure proper operation of essential mobility and medical equipment for veterans and patients.
What You’ll Do:
Delivery & Equipment Installation
- Deliver and pick up medical equipment at patient homes and facilities.
- Safely load, transport, and unload equipment using proper handling procedures.
- Set up equipment according to manufacturers instructions and safety standards.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe and proper equipment use.
- Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery records.
Route Planning & Field Support
- Plan and complete efficient daily delivery and service routes.
- Respond to service calls, repairs, and equipment adjustments as needed.
- Use GPS and navigation tolls to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain delivery logs, mileage records, and service documentation.
Warehouse & Equipment Support
- Assist with warehouse inventory, stocking, and organization
- Help prepare equipment for delivery and ensure proper documentation
- Support general warehouse operations when deliveries are complete

Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
- Ability to pass criminal background and driving record review
Preferred Qualification
- Delivery driver, field technician, installer, or warehouse experience
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME), medical equipment, or healthcare experience
- Mechanical, repair, installation, or hands-on technical experience
- Experience working independently in a field-based role
