<Job Overview>
As a elementary school Health Assistant you will support the school nurse by providing basic first aid, assisting with medication, maintaining health records, and assisting with health screenings for students. You will also monitor students for illness or injury, communicate with parents about health concerns, and help ensure a safe and healthy school environment
<Qualifications>
1. Illinois R.N. license preferred
2. Current First Aid Certification
3. Current CPR Certification
4. Typing/word processing skills
5. Certified for vision and hearing screening preferred
6. Thirty hours of college, preferably, some health classes desired
