The GCC Quality Control Asphalt Technician WS 1 has a basic knowledge of highway/roadway paving operations requirements
Demonstrates familiarity of roadway QC standards, procedures, and applicable codes

Has a basic understanding of computer software, including MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Possesses a valid drivers' license and is approved to drive company vehicles

Meets or exceeds project safety, quality, efficiency, and profit goals for work activities

Outdoor
Stand or walk for long periods; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects; lift and carry materials weighing 25 to 50 lbs.; climb up and down, carrying tools and equipment; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, and see (naturally or with correction). Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold). See attached Physical Requirements Inventory.
High School Diploma preferred.
1+ year general construction experience preferred.
Understanding of basic math; effective writing and communication skills desired.
