We are looking for a driven and personable Employment Specialist to join our Des Moines team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys recruiting, sales, customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment.
As an Employment Specialist, you'll play an important role in connecting great people with great opportunities while building strong relationships with local businesses.
What You'll Do
- Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard candidates for a variety of positions
- Build relationships with job seekers and help them find the right opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients
- Manage client accounts and respond to their staffing needs quickly and professionally
- Work with urgency to fill open positions and meet client expectations
- Make recruiting and placement calls and follow up with candidates and clients
- Help grow the business by identifying opportunities and providing excellent customer service
- Work toward daily and monthly recruiting and sales goals
- Maintain accurate records and follow company policies and applicable employment laws
- Represent the company professionally in the community
What We're Looking For
You don't have to have years of recruiting experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for the right personality, work ethic, and drive.
The ideal candidate is:
- Personable, outgoing, and comfortable talking with people
- Motivated by goals and the opportunity to earn additional income
- Confident making phone calls and having conversations with candidates and clients
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal
- Professional, dependable, and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and building relationships
- Previous recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or sales experience is a plus!
