Overview
We are seeking dedicated and friendly Cashier for the night shifts to join our team. As a Cashier and customer service peron, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for providing good service while efficiently processing transactions. Your role will involve not just handling cash but also ensuring a pleasant experience through effective customer engagement and support.
Duties
- Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Assist in upselling products to enhance the taking order experience and increase sales.
- Supervise stock levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register reconciliation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is required.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and register management.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience with POS systems and working in restaurants is a plus.
- Being coachable.
