Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic practices and a passion for helping individuals achieve their mental health goals. This position involves working with diverse populations, including children and families, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those struggling with addiction. The Therapist will provide evidence-based interventions and support to foster personal growth and well-being.
Duties
- Utilize techniques such as motivational interviewing and behavioral therapy to promote positive change.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs.
- Provide counseling services to children and adults, addressing issues related to mental health .
- Educate clients and families about therapeutic processes, coping strategies, and resources available.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
- Experience in child family counseling and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for medical documentation is advantageous.
- Proficient in maintaining detailed documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
- Strong skills in motivational interviewing techniques and addiction counseling are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in therapy practice.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $57.88 per hour
