Summary
As a Parts Person at Worksman Cycles, you will play a critical role in the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer and internal orders. Key responsibilities include:
Order Fulfillment:
- Read and interpret parts orders accurately.
- Pull correct parts from inventory in a timely manner.
- Ensure all parts picked match order specifications.
Packing and Shipping:
- Pack parts securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Label and prepare shipments according to company standards and carrier requirements.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain stock levels for the department.
- Assist in regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Notify appropriate personnel of low stock or discrepancies.
- Help receive, check, and store incoming parts and supplies.
Workplace Organization and Safety:
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
Team Support:
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Assist in other duties as needed to support production and shipping operations.
