Survey Coordinator
The Survey Coordinator is responsible for supervising field crews and ensuring the successful execution of land survey projects in alignment with established schedules and project requirements. This role works closely with engineering teams, clients, and internal staff to coordinate resources, manage workflows, and deliver high quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with professional surveyors and engineering teams to execute project scope and schedules as established by the Survey Director
- Develop and manage daily field schedules, including preparation of research and field packages for crews
- Maintain professional communication with client representatives, landowners, and the public
- Coordinate with other offices to allocate and share resources as needed
- Review contracts to understand project scope, deliverables, and invoicing requirements
- Supervise technicians and field crews to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently
- Train and mentor team members on state survey requirements and quality assurance and quality control processes
- Ensure project deadlines and key milestones are consistently met
- Assist in the development and improvement of survey department workflows and protocols
- Coordinate equipment needs, including repair and maintenance, with the Supply Manager and Survey Director
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues escalated by team members
- Demonstrate strong capability in executing professional land survey tasks
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Texas RPLS license preferred but not required
- Ability to obtain LSIT certification within one year
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to pass a drug test and background checkeying!
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
