An established commercial landscaping company in South Florida is searching for an experienced Irrigation Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, Operations, this position will oversee irrigation operations, including scheduling, crew leadership, purchasing, job management, safety, estimating, system diagnostics, repairs, and project design.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position where compensation includes base pay, commission eligibility, benefits, and a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance and repair of commercial irrigation systems.
- Schedule inspections, estimates, and repairs
- Monitor labor hours, material costs, and job performance against budget.
- Diagnose system issues, recommend solutions, and prepare accurate estimates.
- Conduct property walks with clients and communicate status.
- Partner with Account Managers regarding open issues, repairs, and recommendations.
- Perform quality-control inspections and verify completed work.
- Manage irrigation technicians and field crews, including scheduling, coaching, training, and performance management.
- Review and close work tickets and time entries daily.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and monthly vehicle inspections.
- Manage purchasing, material allocation, receipts, and inventory.
- Monitor truck inventory, tools, and parts to reduce unnecessary supply trips.
- Complete irrigation-related month-end closing responsibilities.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and emergency situations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least five years of irrigation experience, including lead or supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and installing commercial irrigation systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and direct field employees.
- Strong estimating, scheduling, organizational, and job-management skills.
- Comfortable using computers, mobile applications, and other workplace technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
