We are technology based company looking for an experienced optician to work in our Tinley Park, IL office.
Duties Include:
-Measure and fit people for safety glasses using our online software system
-Assist customers with vision issues over the phone and via email
-Process orders online with our lab partners
-Inspect and check out glasses daily verifying Rx and order requirements are met
-Answer phones and emails relating to optical questions and glasses orders
-Communicate with labs via email
-Process refunds and returns over the phone
-Package glasses for shipment
-Assist with other general customer service tasks
Skills:
-At least 3 years experience working as an optician or in the optical field
-Be able to measure pupillary distances, seg heights, and be familiar to frame fit procedures
-Knowledge of various lens styles and lens options as well as how to troubleshoot lens or vision issues
-Must be friendly, work as a team, multi-task, stay organized, and be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
Hours:
-Full time (40hrs per week) Monday - Friday, day shift - no nights or weekends

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
