We are looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our nursery team. Construction or carpentry experience is preferred, as you will help repair existing benches and build new benches and nursery structures.
No bonsai experience is necessary—we will train you in the art of bonsai. Your responsibilities will include:
Weeding, fertilizing, pruning, and maintaining bonsai trees.
Learning proper bonsai care and horticultural techniques.
Assisting with the maintenance and repair of the nursery irrigation system.
Helping keep the nursery clean, organized, and safe.
Learning to identify and care for many different species of trees and shrubs.
Lifting pottery, boxes, and other materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
Assisting with general nursery projects and seasonal tasks as needed.
