Job Summary
Are you a skilled carpenter looking for a long term opportunity with the possibility of advancement? Laurel Builders, an award-winning custom design/build company in business for 20 years, is looking for a Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. As a Lead Carpenter, you would be responsible for rough and trim carpentry, on-site project supervision, collaboration with trade partners and designers, and regular communication with clients. This role involves hands-on carpentry work as well as overseeing a team, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and meeting our quality standards. To be successful in this position, an individual needs to have excellent carpentry skills, ability to communicate effectively with other trades and clients, and a desire to work in a team environment.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 5+ years of experience in carpentry including framing and finish work
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to effectively guide, instruct, and motivate others
- Proficiency in project execution
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A desire for advancement
- Reliability
Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
