The Baker and the Cakemaker is a locally owned artisan bread bakery and café offering fresh farm-to-fork products, artisan breads, pastries and cakes.
We are expanding and looking for drivers to deliver our breads and pastries to retail and restaurant customers. Tuesdays through Saturdays are required. Shifts require early mornings. No evenings, and every Sunday and Monday off.
The proper candidate for this role will share our enthusiasm for delivering high quality breads and pastries, and will be committed to our culture of teamwork, creativity, and love of good food! This person will provide friendly, professional service delivering our products with a friendly, upbeat presence.
The Bread Delivery Driver is responsible for making sure all routed deliveries are delivered on time, accurately, and courteously. Driver experience strongly preferred. Must have valid driver's license and meet Company's driver standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Loading, transporting, and delivering bread and pastries to retail and restaurant customers in a safe, timely manner
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
- Creating an excellent service experience for our customers
- Representing the brand positively
- Upholding all operational standards
- Driving a company vehicle (Sprinter Van or equivalent) in a safe manner
