The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology is inviting applications for a full-time academic ophthalmologist specializing in Comprehensive
Ophthalmology. The successful candidate will enjoy a robust clinical practice with academic
responsibilities including the didactic and clinical teaching of medical students and residents. Opportunities to conduct clinical research supported by an institutional trials team exist. This
position includes clinical and surgical activities at our Huntington campus facility. Our faculty
enjoy the benefits of a well-established, expanding department with a collegial atmosphere.
The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine (SOM) is a community-based public medical school dedicated to providing high quality medical education and postgraduate training

Compensation arrangements and faculty rank are competitive and commensurate with the
experience, achievement, and responsibilities of this position.
Location MUSOM - Marshall University School of Medicine Salary Range Salary is commensurate with experience and internal equity

Required Qualifications
Education
- Qualified candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
Experience
- Must be eligible for a full and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of WV.
