We’re a premium, non-toxic cleaning company connecting experienced cleaners and cleaning businesses with residential and short-term rental cleaning opportunities.

IMPORTANT: This is a per-job independent contractor opportunity. Contractors are paid a flat amount for each completed cleaning job, not an hourly or daily wage. Compensation for each opportunity is provided before you decide whether to accept the job.

Earning Opportunities
Compensation is provided on a per-job basis and varies based on the service type and size of the home.
- Standard residential cleans: approximately $80–$165 per job
- Deep cleans: approximately $125–$225 per job
- Move-in/move-out cleans: approximately $145–$340 per job
- Short-term rental turnovers: may start around $65 for smaller properties, with higher compensation for larger properties
You’ll receive the scheduled service details, scope, location, and compensation before deciding whether to accept an available job.
Occasionally, opportunities outside your preferred service area may be offered. You decide whether you’d like to accept them, and additional travel compensation may be offered when applicable.
Job availability and earnings are not guaranteed. Opportunities vary based on client demand, location, service type, property size, and the jobs you choose to accept.

North Fulton • Cobb • Cherokee • Gwinnett • DeKalb • Forsyth • Douglas • Paulding
You’ll be able to identify the areas you prefer to service during the application process.
What You’ll Do
As an independent cleaning contractor, you may choose to accept residential and short-term rental (Airbnb/VRBO) cleaning opportunities offered through Clean Theory Co.
For jobs you accept, you’ll:
- Complete the agreed-upon cleaning scope professionally and reliably.
- Meet the client’s service requirements and Clean Theory’s written quality standards.
- Complete Clean Theory jobs using cleaning products that meet our non-toxic product standards.
- Communicate promptly regarding accepted jobs and any issues affecting completion.
- Treat clients, their homes, and their belongings with professionalism and care.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome both experienced solo cleaning professionals and established cleaning businesses.
To be considered, you should:
- Have at least 1 year of paid professional residential cleaning experience.
- Have reliable transportation to accepted jobs.
- Have your own professional cleaning equipment.
- Be willing to use products that meet Clean Theory’s non-toxic cleaning standards for Clean Theory jobs.
- Be detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently in clients’ homes.
- Be willing to complete a background screening. Clean Theory covers the screening cost.
- Be willing to meet our general liability insurance requirements for an ongoing contractor partnership.
- Be able to reliably complete jobs you choose to accept at the scheduled service time.
Availability for short-term rental turnover cleans is a plus, but not required.
If you operate a cleaning business or work with a helper/team, any individual performing services in a Clean Theory client’s home must be approved and complete the required background-screening process before servicing Clean Theory jobs.
Products & Equipment
Clean Theory provides an initial non-toxic cleaning product starter kit.
Contractors provide their own professional cleaning equipment and are responsible for replenishing products that meet Clean Theory’s approved product standards after the initial kit.
Prior experience with non-toxic products is not required.
Independent Contractor Opportunity
This is an independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position.
Independent contractors are self-employed and responsible for their own applicable taxes, insurance, business expenses, equipment, and other obligations associated with operating their business.
Contractors may maintain their own clients, provide services to other companies, select their preferred service areas, and decide which Clean Theory opportunities they wish to accept.
