Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lowboy Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate specialized lowboy trailers designed for hauling heavy, oversized equipment and materials across various routes. Your expertise in truck driving, route navigation, and load securement will ensure safe, efficient deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Duties
- Safely operate lowboy trailers, including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, roll-off truck, and tractor-trailer combinations.
- Load and unload heavy equipment and materials using appropriate tools such as forklifts or cranes when necessary.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit, following all safety protocols.
- Plan and execute efficient routes for timely deliveries across diverse locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on tractor-trailer or heavy equipment hauling.
- Prior delivery driver experience involving freight loading/unloading and route driving preferred.
- Familiarity with different trailer types including flatbed, refrigerated, tanker, dump truck, roll-off truck, and lowboy trailers.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with necessary endorsements for transporting oversized loads.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to freight handling, load securement, and vehicle maintenance.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
