Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including smoothies, juices, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and offering product recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to meet food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using cash handling best practices
- Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high energy levels
Skills
- Experience with POS systems is highly desirable
- Strong background in retail sales transactions and cashiering with attention to detail
- Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation, including smoothies, coffee, and other café drinks
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
- Food safety certification or familiarity with food handling procedures in the food industry
- Barista experience or café experience preferred for beverage service expertise
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards through proper cleaning routines and food safety practices
