Salary: $18.48 - $20.81/hour
FTE: 2 or 3 days/week (negotiable), 6.5 hours/day during the school year

Job Summary: Assist and support Campus Office Manager.
General Responsibilities:
- The Elementary Office Assistant working in the elementary school office should model to students, colleagues and the Bellevue Christian School community an attitude of Christ-like servanthood, cooperation, accuracy and accountability. He/she must be prepared to answer questions with a spirit of patience and honesty. Conflicts that arise are to be resolved through the Matthew 18 principle.
- The goal of Bellevue Christian School employees is to prepare young people to live fully for God in a rapidly changing world, with the ability to understand, evaluate and transform their world from the foundation of God’s unchanging values.
- Oversee visitor management system: Check in and check out visitors; maintain label supply for the system. Assist substitutes as they arrive on campus / provide keys, direct to classroom, etc. Facilitate entry to visitors via bell/button entry system. Maintain and coordinate volunteer background checks.
- Attendance: Record all attendance records on the computer. Record late arrivals and early dismissals in the Student Information System. Call parents when absences are not reported. Coordinate Planned Absence information with teachers.
- First Aid/Health Room: Attend to the needs of the students; clean up wounds, apply ice packs. Attend to headaches, sore throats, tummy aches, bloody noses. Determine seriousness of illness and accidents: knowing when to call parents (even 911). Dispense medication as prescribed by family physician and keep updated inventory of student medications. Maintain health logs, restock supplies as needed. Send letters to parents notifying them of contagious diseases in school. Maintain and update all student health records. Keep immunization records up to date and submit report to State of Washington yearly verifying status of all student immunizations. Distribute student incentives and complete year-end student certificates, maintain and manage radio servicing.
- Communication: Be able to answer general questions about the school. Transfer calls to appropriate person when needed, check and manage voicemail. Monitor and manage Three Points Office email account. Monitor daily student transportation changes.
- Lunch: maintain and manage lunch vendor communication and all student lunch details as needed
- Equipment: Have basic knowledge of copier operation and call for service repairs.
- General: Help maintain campus master schedules as directed by the Office Manager. Maintain campus key log. Prepare office for the start of school. Prepare student field trip packets, assemble classroom emergency supplies, maintain and log emergency drills, organize/create and publish weekly campus newsletter, other duties as assigned.
