Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and dependable Lead Florist to supervise our floral design team and maintain the quality standards of our flower shop. The ideal candidate must be an expert in creating a wide variety of floral arrangements and capable of managing multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish, have basic computer skills, and be comfortable creating content for social media, including photographs, posts, and short videos.
Responsibilities:
- Design professional floral arrangements for all occasions.
- Create hand-tied bouquets, vase arrangements, flower boxes, rose bouquets, money bouquets, sympathy arrangements, funeral sprays, wreaths, crosses, wedding flowers, and custom designs.
- Review orders and ensure that every arrangement follows the customer’s instructions.
- Supervise, organize, and assign daily work to the floral design team.
- Train and support new and less-experienced florists.
- Inspect completed arrangements for quality, accuracy, presentation, and freshness.
- Manage production priorities and ensure orders are completed on time.
- Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking customers and employees.
- Assist with flower preparation, inventory, supply control, and reducing product waste.
- Use a computer to review orders, communicate by email, and complete basic administrative tasks.
- Take attractive photographs and videos of floral arrangements.
- Create and publish social media posts, Stories, Reels, and short promotional videos.
- Keep the floral design area clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced professional experience in floral design.
- Expert ability to create different types of floral arrangements without constant supervision.
- Leadership experience and ability to manage and train a floral team.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Experience creating social media posts, photographs, and short videos.
- Creativity, attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet order deadlines.
- Dependable, punctual, responsible, and professional.
- Ability to provide examples or photographs of previous floral work.
Schedule:
Flexible availability is required. Shifts may be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., seven days a week, according to business needs. Weekend and holiday availability is important because these are peak periods for the flower shop.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
