Job Summary
C.O.P.E. (Conquering the Obstacles of Painful Experiences) is a behavioral health organization committed to empowering children and families through trauma-informed care, skills training, and mental health services. As we expand our services, we are launching an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program to support children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as a key clinical leader in building and shaping this program.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention strategies
- Design, implement, and supervise ABA treatment plans grounded in applied behavior analysis principles to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor client progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency of care across environments
- Provide training and support to direct service staff and caregivers on behavioral techniques, data collection methods, and intervention fidelity
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment documentation, and HIPAA-compliant files in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Conduct intake assessments to evaluate client needs and facilitate appropriate service planning within the behavioral health framework
- Ensure compliance with Texas Medicaid, TMHP, and MCO requirements
Requirements
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with relevant state credentials
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy
- Ability to perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans effectively
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external providers
- Passion for working with individuals with disabilities and commitment to patient care excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home and community-based ABA services
- Experience working with foster care or high-needs populations
- Experience with electronic ABA data collection systems
- Previous experience in program development or startup environments

Pay: $70.00 - $110.00 per hour
