Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Key Holder to join our retail team. In this vital role, you will serve as a leader on the sales floor, supporting store operations, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring smooth daily functions. Responsibilities
- Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately
- Support sales associates with customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and product knowledge
- Manage daily store operations including inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising
- Supervise team members during shifts, delegating tasks and ensuring productivity
- Handle cash register operations, including cashiering, cash handling, and POS system management
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of new staff members
- Maintain a safe shopping environment by enforcing store policies and managing loss prevention efforts
- Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and inventory control to optimize sales performance
Skills
- Proven leadership experience in retail management or supervisory roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities preferred for diverse customer interactions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll, and inventory management
- Proficiency with POS systems, retail math, and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and team members
- Experience in employee orientation, interviewing, training & development to foster team growth
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, pricing strategies, and store presentation techniques
- Ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques including marketing and promotional activities
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence and phone etiquette
- Organizational skills for managing schedules, shift management, and administrative tasks
