Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour

Position Summary
The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality of our residential treatment facility. This position combines housekeeping, routine maintenance, facility support, and preventive maintenance to ensure a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff.
Essential ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping
- Clean client bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, treatment areas, and common spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
- Launder towels, linens, and facility laundry.
- Restock paper products, soap, and housekeeping supplies.
- Empty trash and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Facility Maintenance
- Complete routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
- Perform minor repairs including painting, drywall patching, furniture assembly, door adjustments, and basic plumbing or electrical repairs within skill level.
- Replace light bulbs, HVAC filters, smoke detector batteries, and other routine items.
- Monitor the facility and grounds for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
- Assist with seasonal projects and facility improvements.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs when appropriate.
- Assist with room setup and facility needs for admissions, meetings, and special events.
Inventory & Facility Support
- Maintain housekeeping and maintenance supply inventory.
- Notify leadership when supplies need to be reordered.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Respond promptly to facility-related requests from staff.
- Take ownership of the overall appearance and readiness of the facility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, facilities maintenance, apartment maintenance, hospitality, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safe use of hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Positive attitude with excellent reliability and professionalism.
- Ability to interact respectfully with clients, visitors, vendors, and coworkers.
- Must successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and reach throughout the workday.
- Push and pull carts, equipment, and supplies.
- Work indoors and outdoors as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
