ASPYRE of Bronzeville is seeking a compassionate and energetic Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA) to provide group and individual psychiatric rehabilitative services to residents with a history of multiple psychiatric hospitalizations who require long-term care stabilization. The PRSA works alongside the interdisciplinary team to implement therapeutic programming that promotes resident engagement, independence, and quality of life.

Facilitate resident groups and therapeutic programming as directed by the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Director
Provide supportive treatment interventions to maintain or enhance residents' capacity for independent functioning
Engage in crisis intervention as needed, including assessment of suicidal and homicidal ideations and implementation of appropriate stabilization measures
Assist with psychiatric hospitalizations as needed
Participate in resident evaluations, care planning, and treatment meetings
Communicate with the facility interdisciplinary team regarding residents' ongoing treatment plans
Participate in the orientation and training of new employees and students
Coordinate with outside providers to support continuity of care
Encourage resident participation in psychosocial rehabilitation programming
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
Perform all other duties as assigned
CNA certification required
Experience providing psychosocial services in Long-Term Care, Post-Acute Care, or SMRF settings preferred
Knowledge of behavioral health and psychosocial rehabilitation programming preferred
Experience with computerized documentation systems, preferably PCC
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 25 pounds
Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements
