Cook, Full-Time, Range 6, $15.00 hr.

The City of Deming is seeking qualified applicants for a Cook for the Rio Mimbres Golf Course
Restaurant. Selected applicants will perform a variety of duties focused on delivering high-quality food,
service, and exceptional customer service.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong ethical standards, professionalism, and a service-oriented
approach to ensure an outstanding guest experience. Responsibilities include preparing food according to
established standards and customer specifications, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area,
checking food and ingredients for freshness, and ensuring compliance with applicable health department
regulations and all Rio Mimbres Golf Course Bar and Restaurant operational and customer service
guidelines.
Minimum Qualification Standards:
- A valid New Mexico driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
- HS Diploma or GED
- Food Handling License
- Prepares foods to the specifications of the client
- Checks food and ingredients for freshness
- Maintain kitchen area clean and tidy
- Cooperate and work with all other staff
- Follow all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
- Cleans food preparation areas
- Estimates expected food consumption and organized preparation
