Job Summary: Silver Shield Inc. currently seeking dedicated and experienced On- Call Security Officers to join our team. The on-call officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures.
On-Call Flex Officers will be on-call Monday through Friday throughout the Corpus area.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Foot Patrol and walking up and down stairs.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Skills:
- Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor premises.
- Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights.
- CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience as an Officer or in a similar role preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle to post in
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have active Level III guard card.
