Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting - Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in a growing biotech organization. This role is designed for someone early in their career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations while also supporting general office functions. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office administration. Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Support:
- Be the first point of contact in handling all customer inquiries received by phone (professional phone etiquette required)
- Assist with invoice entry, matching purchase orders, and preparing payment batches.
- Help maintain vendor records and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Reconcile discrepancies with invoices, receipts, or purchase orders under supervision.
- Support monthly AP reports and assist with filing and data entry.
Office & Admin Support:
- Coordinate office supply orders and manage inventory levels.
- Provide clerical support including scanning, copying, and filing accounting documents..
Requirements
- Must attain a professional and friendly phone etiquette
- An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is ideal but not required.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or administrative support.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and interest in learning accounting systems (e.g., , QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Willingness to take on other assignments or projects as needed to support the team and broader company goals.
Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm
