What You'll Do
As an X-Ray Technologist, you'll perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional service.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate digital radiography equipment while maintaining image quality standards.
- Verify patient identity and review clinical history prior to imaging procedures.
- Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and confidence.
- Monitor patients throughout examinations while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Ensure radiation protection standards are followed for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when necessary according to established protocols.
- Coordinate daily imaging workflow to support efficient patient care.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain imaging supplies and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and procedure-ready.
What We're Looking For
Experience

1–3 years of recent experience as an X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist
Education
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiography (Radiologic Technology) program
Licensure & Certifications
- Current New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
- Current BLS Certification
Preferred Skills
Successful candidates will have experience with:
- Digital Radiography (DR)
- Portable X-ray procedures
- Fluoroscopy assistance
- PACS and Radiology Information Systems (RIS)
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Radiation safety and quality assurance
- Equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Patient positioning and anatomy
- Infection prevention and patient safety protocols
