Description:
Engine Tech I – Texas Speed Location
This position is responsible for the Engine Department support as listed below for Texas Speed and
Performance.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Assembles Rocker Arm Sets

Responsible for all Rocker Arm assembly components and boxes
-
Engine Tear Down Process (Label components and maintain traceability)

Visual Inspection of all blocks from start to finish
-
Wash and clean parts as required
-
Assist in inventory as required
-
Keep Tear Down / Rocker Arm area clean and free of trash
-
Assist with picking parts as required
-
Rod Honing
-
Maintains positive working relationships with manufacturing personnel and other staff members to support a positive workplace environment.

Responsible for implementing and enforcing industry standard safety procedures throughout the block department.

Performs and executes all other duties assigned by direct manager.

Exceptional Mechanical Abilities

Be able to use Measuring Equipment (Mics, Calipers, Bore Gauge, etc...)
