About the Role
As a Field Furniture Restoration Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving product quality issues directly in customers' homes. You will utilize your expertise in upholstery, leather care, and wood refinishing to restore furniture to its original condition, ensuring every client receives a premium service experience.
Responsibilities-
Perform expert-level repairs on upholstery, leather, and wood case goods with minimal supervision.

Execute precise surface refinishing, color matching, and structural repairs on damaged furniture.

Assess damage severity to determine the most efficient restoration methods and communicate outcomes to clients.

Operate and maintain specialized repair tools, including power drills, impact drivers, and spray equipment.

Manage a mobile service route efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and professional onsite interactions.

Document recurring product issues and collaborate with warehouse teams to improve quality control processes.

Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and ensure all repair materials are fully stocked.

Adhere to all safety protocols and driving regulations while representing the brand in customer residences.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in furniture repair, including leather, upholstery, or wood refinishing.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a field environment.

Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with customers.

Experience with color matching and advanced surface finishing techniques.

Proficiency in using digital tools for reporting and scheduling.

Prior experience in a customer-facing service or field technician role.
