Head Boys Volleyball Coach
Herbert Hoover Middle School – San Francisco, CA
Herbert Hoover Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic, positive and dedicated Head Boys Volleyball Coach to lead our program into its first official league season. Hoover has fielded boys volleyball teams for the past three years, this marks the inaugural season of the official AAA league competition making it a unique opportunity to shape the future of a growing program.

Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging, organized practices.
- Coach all games and represent Hoover Athletics with professionalism.
- Teach volleyball fundamentals, strategy and sportsmanship.
- Foster a positive team culture built on respect, effort and accountability.
- Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families and school staff.
- Maintain equipment and assist with program organization.
- Support student-athletes academically and model outstanding character on and off the court.
Qualifications
- Previous volleyball coaching or competitive playing experience preferred.
- Ability to motivate and connect with middle school student-athletes.
- Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and positive youth development.
- CPR/First Aid certification is madatory.
