Position Summary
Ocean’s 18 is building a world-class bartending Team. As a bartender here, you are equal parts passionate about cocktails as you are the guest experience / hospitality. Additionally, you believe that healthy systems are the key to consistency. You are trained across all classic cocktails and have a vast knowledge of spirits (flavor and origin). You work well within a Team setting and get genuinely excited about the opportunity to work-shop and contribute to seasonal cocktail menus. Responsibilities May Include, but not limited to
- Mix, serve and pour beer, cocktails and nonalcoholic options
- Communicate with support team to maintain smooth operations
- Follow and understand all consumption laws
- Follow steps of service
- Menu Development
- Enhance guest experience through attentiveness and anticipation of needs
- Safely and effectively serve drinks
- Follow all rules, policies and procedures that affect your condition of employment
- Accurately processing cash, credit card and comp payments
- Aid in Inventory management
- Clean and sanitize all bar areas during and after shifts
- Remove all trash and recycling through out the shift and at its completion
Skills and Experience
- Must be 21+ of age
- Prior craft cocktail experience
- Personality, hustle and a great pour
- Strong level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness
- Must obtain proper certification by Casino Commission for employment
- Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment
- Communicate professionally with guests to exceed expectations
- Safely and effectively communicate with team members to perform and follow job requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Ability to move and lift 15lbs often and frequently and occasionally move and lift up to 150lbs
