**Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upgrades to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and machinery using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
- Fabricate and install new equipment or components as needed.
- Weld and fabricate metal parts and components.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that maintenance work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.
**Experience**
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and experience using an Ohmmeter.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Experience with residential painting is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to direct and supervise other maintenance technicians.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to use logic controllers to troubleshoot equipment issues.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in facilities maintenance and repair.
- Strong welding and fabrication skills.
- Experience with logic controllers and electrical systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques and materials.
- Experience with an Ohmmeter.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
Salary is based on experience
This position is scheduled for four 10-hour shifts, Wednesday - Saturday from 4:00am to 2:00pm
